Savor Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the kitchen; food waste is transformed into compost through our partnership with McEnroe Organic Farm, one of the largest organic farms in New York State. By diverting waste from landfill, we are doing our part to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, any surplus food finds its purpose through donation to Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, ensuring no meal goes to waste.
Certified Green Restaurant
The Well& by Durst space at One Five One is proudly a 4-star Certified Green Restaurant. This prestigious recognition is awarded to restaurants that achieve significant environmental milestones, from reducing energy and water consumption to incorporating sustainable building features and ethical food sourcing.
Zero-Waste Packaging
Tenants at both One World Trade Center and One Five One can bring their Well& by Durst branded tumbler for their morning coffee. And since 2023, One Five One tenants have the option of having their to-go meals served in reusable containers as part of the Reusable Wares initiative. Tenants return their containers to the food hall to be washed and restocked. By opting for reusable containers, tenants are actively reducing the burden of single-use packaging on our planet.
